To really customize your lock screen, you can use a Live Photo for your wallpaper. In the options, you can also find out the playback duration of the input and output GIFs, track the delays between the frames, find the dimensions (width/height in pixels) of the input GIF (in pixels), as well as examine the currently played frame. In iOS, Apple provides a few live wallpapers that you can use for the background on your iPhone's lock screen, but these animated options are just wavy color shifts and ink-in-water effects. You can compare the durations of the input and output GIFs in your browser by turning the animations on or off with the "Play/Pause GIFs" checkbox. If the GIF frames have different delays, then this approach also preserves the original delay differences as each delay is increased (or decreased) proportionally. Similarly, if the original GIF is 5 seconds long and you want to make it 2 seconds long, then all delays are multiplied by 0.4 (2/5). For example, if the original GIF is 2 seconds long and you want to make it 3 seconds long, then all existing frame delays are multiplied by 1.5 (3/2). When you enter the new GIF duration value in the options, the program automatically calculates the time allotted for displaying each frame and overwrites the original delay values in the original GIF file. Similarly, you can speed a GIF animation up and make it run exactly 1 second or 0.5 seconds. For example, you can slow a GIF animation down and make it run exactly 5 seconds, or 10 seconds, or if you want to, really stretch it out and make it one minute (60 seconds) long. This is a browser-based program that changes the playback length of a GIF animation and allows you to set a precise time limit for the entire animation (in seconds).
